Vienna (OTS) – The Samaritan Association, together with city councilor Peter Hacker, offers an insight behind the scenes of the new rescue center and a guided tour included Garage, workshop, offices, social and training rooms and of course the modern control center.
There is also the possibility to visit the Samaritan League operational fleet – from Segways and e-cargo bikes to emergency bikes and ambulances and ambulances. Furthermore, it is possible to Train emergency trips in the new blue light simulator and get to know the Samaritan Association food truck buffet.

The Samaritan Association will then celebrate the start of the new era with an open day. Residents and interested parties are warmly invited to attend.
Key data of the innovative control center:
- Workplaces for 400 employees: In the modern headquarters, around 300 full-time and volunteer employees as well as 80 civilian servants work hand in hand, around the clock to ensure security.
- Vehicle garage: Space for 80 rescue vehicles and other commercial vehicles – optimally organized for quick and efficient operations.
- Modern control center: Ideal conditions for state-of-the-art and responsive coordination of patient transport and emergency operations at the Samaritan Association.
- Workshop of the Samaritan Association: In the new workshop, three vehicles can be serviced and repaired at the same time.
- Food on wheels: Modern workplaces for 40 dedicated employees who ensure every day that warm meals reach those who need them most.
- Environmentally friendly new building: The new building complies with the latest environmental standards and is equipped with a 30 kW photovoltaic system. This allows up to ten electric vehicles to be charged and will be further expanded in the coming months.
