With the Caritas Campus 22, a new place for social cooperation, education and professional care is being built in the Vienna Donaustadt. In the presence of representatives from urban politics, administration, education and social services, three institutions are ceremoniously opened:
Die Caritas School Campus 22 offers practice-oriented training in health, nursing and social areas- for adults from the age of 17. The aim is to open up a professional perspective in the social sector.
The House Kim is a stationary caretaker for formerly homeless and homeless women as well as Flinta*people. Here self -determined life is made possible in 71 furnished small apartments, accompanied by a professional support offer.
The new House St. Christoph offers people in need of care with mental illnesses a home with modern equipment, personal support and a holistic understanding of care.
Caritas Campus 22 is a future -oriented example of innovative neighborhood development: Education, nursing and social living in one place – networked, inclusive and sustainable.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to take part in the opening and the subsequent house tour.
