AVISO: 1.10. – Samaritan Soup Pot presents new cookbook & new cuisine

The Samaritan Association of Vienna cordially invites you to come “Open Kitchen Day” am 01. October 2024. This day will not be just a look behind the scenes, i.e. in the newly renovated soup pot kitchen, granted, but also that fresh off the press Samaritan soup pot cookbook presented. With numerous dishes for a small budget and tips for preserving, preserving and using leftovers. Because healthy eating should be accessible to everyone!

Open kitchen day:

This is the Samaritan soup pot:

Cooking takes place on weekdays with volunteers in the kitchen in the 20th district. The meals are then served in the social markets and social institutions of the Samaritan Association of Vienna – free of charge.

Since the project started in November 2022, around 125,000 portions have been distributed to people who can hardly afford to cook hot meals due to increased food prices. From now on, 8,000 instead of the previous 6,000 meals per month can be prepared in the newly equipped kitchen.
