The Austrian Civil Service Insurance, VVaG, (ÖBV) is pleased to welcome Günther Herndlhofer as the third member of the board.
Günther Herndlhofer (45) was until recently the long-time head of investment management and authorized representative of VBV – Vorsorgekasse AG. The experienced financial manager has an excellent track record and is considered an internationally recognized expert in the areas of sustainable investments, company pension schemes and quality management.
Herndlhofer’s entry into office marks the handover of the board’s agenda to Josef Trawöger.
After more than 15 years at the helm of ÖBV, Trawöger will dedicate himself to new challenges from May 2025 and will leave the company at his own request and on the best of terms. Herndlhofer will lead ÖBV together with Stefan Mikula from May 2025.
Josef Trawöger and Stefan Mikula agree: “Günther Herndlhofer will bring his many years of extensive expertise to our ÖBV. We look forward to working together and wish him all the best as he takes up his new job!”
Dr. Mathias Moser, chairman of the ÖBV supervisory board, wishes the new board all the best and says: “With Günther Herndlhofer we are gaining an extremely experienced financial expert, and I know that ÖBV will continue to be in good hands!”.
Herndlhofer himself says: “I am very much looking forward to my new task, to working with my new colleagues, as well as with all partners in the ÖBV networks.
