Austrian chemical industry: agreement on a new collective agreement has been reached

Employer chief negotiator Stöger: “The search for a common solution was particularly challenging this year” – Increase in wages and salaries by 6.33%, but a maximum of €316.50.

Given the ongoing uncertainty, the search for a common solution was particularly challenging this year. It is all the more important that we were able to reach an agreement with the employee representatives after intensive and constructive negotiations. We now have a collective agreement that, with an average impact of 5.54 percent, is just about economically viable for the companies in the sector and, thanks to the social staggering, means that employees continue to be paid fairly.
