This is an emblematic project that signals the digital transformation of e-EFKA and the first major digitalization project where machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies will play a crucial role in the faster and successful implementation of the project. As far as implementation is concerned, the project in total includes scanning more than 42 million pages (42,708,333 pages) of the e-EFKA paper file, processing the scanned documents with the aim of improving their quality and verifying them with metadata. To implement the project, innovative technologies, intelligent document processing (IDP) based on machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms, will be used for the automatic extraction of data from the digitized material, as well as for confirmation of the correctness of the automatically identified data.
