Asterix and Obelix conquer Berlin and Netflix!

Berlin (OTS) –

In the Asterix universe, events overturned until the publication of the 41st Adventure on October 23, 2025 at Story House Egmont: For the first time in Germany, early works, sketches, original pages and personal objects of the Asterix creators Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny are shown. The Museum für Kommunikation Berlin starts the exhibition “Uderzo – from Asterix to the magic potion” on February 6, 2025. Until mid -June, fans come up close to the origins of the Gallic heroes. The work show is curated by Sylvie Uderzo, the daughter of the Draftsman Uderzo and the Berlin comic artist Flix (Felix Görmann).

The comic artist Flix is fascinated:

“Accompanying such an exhibition is an once in a lifetime matter. Joy and honor and challenge at the same time. Albert Uderzo’s works to be so incredibly close is perhaps to be presented to me as if you are Catholic and are asked to see Pope.”

Both Sylvie Uderzo and Flix are now available for interviews. You can find detailed information about the exhibition and press conference on February 5, 2025 here: Uderzo – from Asterix to the magic potion – Museum of Communication Berlin.

But that’s not all to sweeten the waiting time until the 41st adventure in autumn: in the spring of 2025 the long -awaited Netflix animation series “Asterix – The Struggle of the Chief” conquered the world. In 190 countries, Netflix celebrates the premiere of the very first series with the popular Gauls. Story House Egmont puts one on top and will present the limited extra edition of the classic “Fight of the Chief”, which served as a template for the series from April 8. The collection album is available as a hardcover with 16 additional pages in bookstores (D: EUR 13.50; A: EUR 13.90; SFR 18.90; also online at www.egmont-shop.de) and provides exclusive insights into the creation of the 3D animation series.

Story House Egmont regularly informs about new releases from the Asterix cosmos until the long-awaited 41st Asterix adventure appears in retail on October 23, 2025. In the brand new Asterix album, the Gauls are sent into the sun. The travel destination is still secret. For the second time, Fabcaro (Fabrice Caro) delivers the scenario, Didier Conrad takes over the drawings as usual. Together they enter the footsteps of the brilliant creators René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. Since 1959, 400 million Asterix albums have been sold in 120 languages and dialects worldwide, about a third of them in the German-speaking countries.
