Association “HPV vaccination now!”  organizes International HPV Day on March 4, 2024

The educational association launches the campaign “HPV? Better Not!” and organizes vaccination campaigns at Austrian universities.

Vienna (OTS) The educational association “HPV vaccination now!” is pleased to host International HPV Day 2024 and invites the public to participate in the planned activities. The event is launched a week before with a comprehensive educational campaign to draw attention to the vaccination locations at several Austrian universities.

Awareness campaign “HPV? Better Not!”

As part of International HPV Day 2024 on March 4th, the association is presenting “HPV vaccination now!” the awareness campaign “HPV? Better Not!”. The campaign offers an insight into the world of human papilloma viruses (HPV) through interviews with experts and those affected. The posts focus on debunking myths, clearing up uncertainties and highlighting the importance of the HPV vaccination. For us, knowledge is the best defense against HPV-related diseases.

Vaccination locations at Austrian universities

In addition to the awareness campaign, “HPV vaccination now!” In cooperation with the Austrian Students’ Union, local vaccination campaigns at Austrian universities on March 4th. Our goal is to increase the vaccination rate in Austria and to create easier access to the HPV vaccination for people under 21. Vaccinations take place on International HPV Day at the University of Applied Arts, the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Vienna. The vaccination site at the University of Vienna is organized in collaboration with the City of Vienna and will offer walk-in vaccinations for people under 21 at the main building of the university.
