“When patients reject treatment by men or women for religious reasons, this is in clear contradiction to principles such as equality, neutrality and medical security security,” commented FPÖ state councilor Martin Antauer a current complaint infestation in the university clinic in Salzburg, in which a Muslim expressly called for doctors for the treatment of his wife.
“Integration means accepting our rules and values – especially in infrastructures such as hospitals, kindergartens or schools. If you want to live here permanently, you have to adapt to the framework of our society – not the other hand. If that doesn’t fit, please take the next plane towards home country,” concludes Stauer.
