Antitreplecht Moot Court 2025 – announcement of this year’s winners

For the eleventh time in a row, the BWB was allowed to invite Moot Court on May 16, 2025. The legal competition organized together with Elsa Austria (European Law Students’ Association) and the law firm Dorda Rechtsanwälte GmbH is pleased about the continued great interest!

This year, the students also demonstrated their rhetorical skills and technical legal knowledge before a fictitious antitrust court and this time not only had to show their knowledge of antitrust law, but also their understanding of cryptocurrency networks.

This challenge faced ten teams who looked after by renowned law firms as usual and were supported by them in the creation of the briefs and preparation for the hearing:

Like the years before, the best team and the “Best Speaker” were chosen. This year, too, the students not only convinced with well -founded antitrust law, but also with rhetorical and argumentative skill and the natural handling of complex facts. During the assessment, the factual and legal analysis in the briefs, as well as the arguments, teamwork, spontaneity and time management during the hearing were taken into account.
