Senior Citizens’ Association President Ingrid Korosec mourns Josef Taus: “He was one of the outstanding personalities of the Second Republic.” In his political functions – National Council member, state secretary and ÖVP chairman – he was just as committed to the country as he was as an industrialist. “Josef Taus was also a pioneer, always energetic and responsible – and he did a lot for Austria as a location. He will never be forgotten. I offer my sincere condolences to his family.”
