Unlike often rumored, many Austrians are interested in science and have trust in them. But they feel according to the current findings too little informed and overwhelmed by progress. Kinder have one natural curiosity and pronounced interests for scientific and technical relationships. In the course of your educational career, however, these interests and trust in your own skills will all too often, as reality shows.
The Aid organization As a sponsor of facilities in child formation, day care and youth work as well as „Science Buster“ Martin Moder provide relevant findings, suggestions and concrete claims on the subject of science transfer.
following Questions will be the focus of the press conference:
- What about the skepticism of science of the Austrians?
- What’s wrong with the mediation of science? What are the consequences of this? What valuable chances are played?
- Why are future -oriented fields such as mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (MINT) so far away for many people?
- Why do they trigger boredom and aversion in children and often even become “fear subjects”?
- How can we strengthen children in their interests and skills? How do we promote your enthusiasm for MINT and your trust in your own possibilities?
- What has to happen in our educational institutions? Where can we start quickly and effectively?
