Allianz was the first insurer with Eurprivacy certification

Allianz Austria has achieved an important milestone in its ongoing commitment to data protection. Last week, the company celebrated the handover of European data protection seal – Eurprivacy certification. Allianz recognizes this recognition as a leading company in the insurance sector, which relies on the highest standards in data protection.

The only Europe -wide certification for GDPR

The Eurprivacy certification, currently the only certification recognized by all EU member states for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), was awarded the Allianz Austria in the following categories: Completion of private property, liability health and life insurance via agencies and online completion of household/home products. Processes of Allianz Italy and the Global Online Recruiting Process of Allianz were also awarded the Europrivacy data protection seal.

This award is an important distinguishing feature for Allianz Austria within the industry and strengthens the trust of customers: inside, investors, business partners: inside, employees: inside and supervisory authorities. At a time when data protection violations and data protection concerns attract great public attention, this certification is a clear sign of the commitment of the Alliance to face these challenges and to protect personal data at every level.
