Successful charity punch with a long tradition: Dedicated employees: Inside the Allianz, 36,500 euros for children and adolescents with serious illnesses. Thanks to an additional donation from the Allianz management, the Lichtblickhof is supported with 66,500 euros.
This year too, employees were involved: Inside the Allianz Austria in the run -up to Christmas at the traditional punch stand for a good cause. The proceeds of the sale of punch, mulled wine and small snacks benefit the Lichtblickhof, a rehabilitation, hospice and competence center for children and adolescents with severe health fates. The punch stand in front of the company headquarters at the Vienna Central Station was organized by around 150 Allianz employees: on the inside on their own initiative and looked after in their free time for four weeks. A total of donations of 36,500 euros were taken at the stand. The Allianz management is proud of the commitment of Allianz employees: inside and has increased the sum by another 30,000 euros. The Lichtblickhof is thus supported with a total of 66,500 euros.
Many years of commitment to the Lichtblickhof
“I am very happy that we were able to welcome so many people to our charity punch hut. The stand has a long tradition in our company and lives from the commitment and cohesion of our employees: inside. Also this year we were allowed to share many great moments and enjoy community. The support of the Lichtblickhof and its significant work is a central part of our social engagement. We look forward to many more years of this valuable partnership, ”says Daniel Matić, CEO of Allianz Austria.
Moments of light for seriously ill children and their families
The Lichtblickhof is a place of life for families whose child is affected by incurable and life -shortening diseases. With equotherapy, a special form of therapy with horses, the Lichtblickhof helps to manage the children and young people, difficult phases of life. Allianz Austria has been supporting its employees for more than 40 years: the Lichtblickhof inside and has already been able to hand over more than 1.5 million euros to the children’s hospice.
“In difficult and dark times, creating moments of happiness and lightness is our mission on the Lichtblickhof. With us, seriously ill children and their families will find a refuge where they can calm down, enjoy moments of confidence and joy and recharge their batteries. We are grateful for partnerships such as those with the Allianz, which make our work and the care of up to 500 children possible in the first place, ”explains Roswitha Zink, managing director and therapist of the Lichtblickhof.
Charity und Corporate Volunteering
Social responsibility and social commitment are very important in the Allianz. Be it through financial support for non -profit organizations or through the voluntary commitment of the employees: Inside: In 2024 – including the donations from the punch stand for the Lichtblickhof – around 90,000 euros were donated to charity projects. Allianz Austria also offers its employees: inside the opportunity to use one working day per year for a good cause. In 2024, 178 corporate volunteering were done.
