Whether at school or at home, where you spend a lot of time and breathe air regularly – high air quality is crucial. While there are various quality seals for food and other products, there is no such seal for healthy indoor air.
Task: Students design their own “Air quality seal” or “air stickers” to mark places where good indoor air is important (e.g. school class, children’s room). Create a creative symbol for clean and healthy indoor air!
Background information: Students and teachers spend 30 to 50 percent of their time in classrooms, which are central living spaces for children and young people. It is therefore important to find creative approaches to address the effects of indoor air on well-being, health and ability to learn.
The air jump school competition is taking place across Austria for the 12th time and is organized by the independent Platform MyRoomAir carried out. It is one of the largest school competitions in German-speaking countries.
AIR JUMP school competition
Design your own “air quality seal” or “air sticker” to identify classrooms and living spaces where healthy air quality is maintained. School classes across Austria are invited to take part in the popular “Luftsprung” competition. The competition is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
