The BIOFACH trade fair in Nuremberg from February 13th – 16th, 2024 will focus on the innovative strength of the food industry. For the fruit, starch and sugar group AGRANA, the world’s largest trade fair for organic food is once again the ideal venue to demonstrate its organic expertise and present its comprehensive organic range. “The awareness of a sustainable, healthy lifestyle, which also includes the consumption of organic food, is particularly pronounced among consumers in Europe, especially in Germany and Austria. AGRANA is taking this trend into account with a wide product range of plant-based foods in organic quality. We can build on our many years of know-how and synergies in all business segments,” emphasizes AGRANA CEO Stephan Büttner. AGRANA’s organic range ranges from fruit preparations for the dairy, baked goods and ice cream industries to starch products, infant milk formula and high-quality sugar products. Visitors to BIOFACH 2024 can expect the following product highlights at the AGRANA stand (Hall 1, Stand 565): Vegan soft ice cream in organic quality AGRANA innovation “vegan rice-based soft ice cream” was developed for Biofach with two new flavors (blackcurrant – blueberry and mango) and further developed in organic quality: The all-in solution for the catering industry impresses with a creamy, soft texture, a lower sugar content and a high fiber content at the same time. Other vegan concepts such as creamy oat ice cream with a salted caramel swirl and exotic sorbets with dragon fruit or mango-passion fruit await you in the ice cream display case. Yoghurts with ginger-lemon or sprouts become immune boosters and healthy snacks. The vegan versions as all-in solutions from AGRANA can be tasted at BIOFACH in the flavors blackcurrant-lemon in coconut and mango-passionfruit in an oat base. Broad organic starch range AGRANA’s organic product range is also diverse in the starch segment. The company produces high-quality organic starch for the processing industry from certified organic raw materials such as potatoes, corn, waxy maize and wheat. Organic starch refines almost all organic products in the food and beverage industry. For example, snacks or baked goods where it ensures the right consistency. Vegetarian snacks such as cheese pretzels and spinach-feta pockets await visitors in the AGRANA bakery shop at the trade fair stand. When it comes to sweet baked goods, AGRANA swirls up a lot of powdered sugar: carnival donuts are served in keeping with the season, as well as banana slices and vegan chocolate muffins.
