On November 1, 2025, Agnieszka Kühn took over the management and the CEO of the Mercedes-Benz Austria, based in Eugendorf near Salzburg. In this function, she will bear the strategic and operational responsibility for the business of Mercedes-Benz in Austria. This includes the vehicle sales and the distribution of financial products, which now come from a single source and thus offers benefits for Mercedes-Benz customers along the Customer Journey. Niels Kowollik, current CEO of Mercedes-Benz Austria GmbH, had decided some time ago to devote himself to other projects with his 63rd birthday at the end of the year.
With over 15 years of international management experience in the automotive and financial services industry, Agnieszka Kühn has extensive expertise in the areas of digital transformation, business strategy and organizational change. Most recently, she was the managing director of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services GmbH and Mercedes-Benz Bank GmbH in Austria and was responsible for the implementation of a successful growth and digital strategy as well as complex reorganization processes.
