Aachen/Vienna (ots) agineo GmbH is massively expanding its international business and is opening new locations in Vienna and Kista due to increasing demand. The expansion to Austria and Sweden is part of the internationalization strategy of agineo, one of Germany’s leading ServiceNow service providers. The company, which is headquartered in Germany, was previously represented in Switzerland and Slovakia. Prompted by the high number of new customer inquiries and on the stable basis of the increased sales figures, agineo plans to further establish itself internationally in the coming years.

The locations Sweden and Austria offer ideal conditions for expansion. Digitalization has accelerated significantly there in recent years, offering companies immense growth opportunities. According to the “Digital Economy and Society Index” (DESI, Eurostat surveys), Sweden is one of the leading digital countries in Europe. Austria is also in the top third of European countries that are successfully mastering the wave of digitalization. Agineo is using this ongoing trend to expand internationally.

The increased demand for IT solutions has further boosted this growth. There is an enormous growth trend, particularly in the software sector. “We are expanding in Sweden and Austria because we see a great need there for digital individual solutions that we can serve,” says Thomas Haveneth, Managing Director of agineo. “We offer a unique portfolio of tailor-made solutions that others don’t have and that is very promising,” says Haveneth. agineo’s ServiceNow portfolio offers customers individualized, modular solutions that support them in digitizing and automating work processes in the long term. Cloud technology enables agineo to modernize historically grown processes in a scalable and sustainable manner.

In order to be able to provide this level of tailor-made solutions, agineo repositioned itself within the company last year. The company relies on specialized teams that further develop and implement the individual ServiceNow products. Through this change, consultants gain stronger technical expertise, which enables project implementation to be more efficient. The specialization in the individual product lines is particularly effective in collaboration with customers. Consultants can respond more individually to customer needs and the focus is on jointly developing tailor-made solutions. Agineo has long since made a name for itself in Germany as an elite partner of ServiceNow 2023. The demand from new customers is high and creates a healthy basis for agineo to expand its business in Austria and Sweden. The IT company has already doubled its sales in the last four years (see Federal Gazette, Banz AT March 29, 2023 S1). With sales of 22 million euros in 2021 and sales of around 39 million euros in 2023, the company is achieving an increase in sales of over 30%.

The increasing sales figures and the volume of new work orders also require personnel growth in order to maintain this course. Despite the competitive German labor market for ServiceNow specialists, new employees are urgently needed for all agineo locations. agineo has therefore taken all necessary measures to recruit qualified employees. With success: the number of employees has doubled since 2019 and has grown to over 250 employees in 2024. By expanding its business activities to Austria and Sweden, agineo plans to tap into the local labor markets in order to position itself more broadly for current and new projects.

To provide support, agineo is also relying on new partnerships. As part of its internationalization, the company announced its collaboration with the Indian software development company InfoBeans in January. The aim of the strategic partnership is to make agineo accessible to the global market. agineo sees German-Indian cooperation as an opportunity to expand its competitiveness and meet its own high quality requirements and delivery standards. “From a market perspective, the partnership is a turning point as it strengthens our global presence and has a positive impact on our profitability and delivery efficiency,” said Ludger Koslowski, COO of agineo and head of the internationalization campaign.

The focus at agineo continues to be on its customers, because the expansion to international locations offers advantages above all in project implementation. The expansion not only guarantees customers international access to the company, but also enables improved delivery efficiency in the implementation of projects due to the growth in personnel.
