The focus of the press conference is the comparison of housing policy in Tyrol and Vorarlberg. While almost 2,000 non-profit apartments are created every year in Tyrol with the participation of the SPÖ government, the black-green state government in Vorarlberg has clearly missed its goal of building 4,000 apartments in five years. The consequence: Housing is becoming more and more expensive.
LH deputy Georg Dornauer will explain his housing policy as state councilor for housing in Tyrol and show why so much more affordable housing can be created in Tyrol under social democratic leadership. Mario Leiter will show how, with his “5-point housing program”, Vorarlberg can quickly make up for the failed housing policy of recent years in the next legislative period.
