Cybernetic neurotechnology is an interdisciplinary field that combines cybernetics (control and communication) with neurosciences (study of the brain and nervous system). The Cyberdyne Hal system recognizes bioelectric signals in the muscles before a visible movement takes place. The robot specifically supports the movement sequence and thus enables a completely new dimension of rehabilitation.
