The annual conference is the largest event in the annual calendar of Raiffeisen Lower Austria. The two hosts-Erwin Hateseder, chairman of the Raiffeisen-Holding Lower Austria, and Michael Höllerer, General Director Raiffeisen Lower Austria,-in addition to the many members of the “Raiffeisen family”, also welcomed numerous representatives: inside from business, politics, culture, society and religion. The approximately 850 guests in the Vienna trade fair included Chancellor Christian Stocker and Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner.
For chairman Erwin Hateseder, the annual conference is “always a moment of inventory and future orientation”. He assumes that “we are experiencing a profound transformation of global economic relationships- no departure from global exchange, but its reorganization. Globalization does not die, but it changes its face- from a liberal, market-driven dynamic to a harder, power-political opposite and next to each other. This should be understood as a wake-up call in Brussels”.
Take on long -term responsibility and actively design opportunities
Especially in turbulent times, from the chairman’s point of view, however, new investment opportunities also arise, “which you can see when you act courageously and foresight. This attitude corresponds entirely to our cooperative philosophy: not only to simulate security at short notice, but also to take responsibility and to actively shape opportunities”.
Hameseder referred to the this year’s “International Year of Cooperatives”: “A year that focuses on the core of our identity. Cohesion and cooperation are not empty phrases for us. Rather, it is principles that have always shaped and wear our work. The next few years will be demanding. But it will be possible for those who act courageously, decide and remember what it has done – we do exactly the day at Raiffeisen. for day and with conviction and with pride. “

Politics estimates Raiffeisen’s closeness and wants to improve the framework conditions
Chancellor Christian Stocker came up with the clear political announcement at the Raiffeisen annual conference to “make the right decisions for the economy.
