11 Phygital disciplines announced: Abu Dhabi is preparing for the reception of phygital athletes and fans in December

“The Games of the Future 2025”-the games of the future in 2025-will revitalize the global sports calendar with a top-class line-up phygital disciplines; A fusion of physical athletics and immersive digital gameplay. - Phygital Football: Begins with a football video game before the athletes play football on a field
- Phygital Basketball: A round basketball video game, followed by physical actions on the field
- Phygital Fighting: The athletes initially compete in a combat video game and then continue the fight in a physical arena
- Phygital Dancing: Athletes adapt their live movements to an interactive rhythm video game
- Phygital Shooter: Clubs compete against each other in a digital shooter round, followed by a round laser day
- Battle Royale: A competition format in which clubs fight for the last to remain left
- MOBA PC: A “Multiplayer Online Battle Arena” tournament on the PC
- MOBA Mobile: A “Multiplayer Online Battle Arena” tournament that is played on the cell phone
- Drone Racing: Pilots navigate high-speed drones with the help of first-person perspective headsets through an obstacle course
- VR Games: Virtual environments in which players rely on their reflexes and their spatial consciousness
- Battle of Robots: Remote-controlled robots compete against each other in rapid head-to-head fights
