Vienna (OTS) – Vienna, May 24, 2024 – The renowned biopharma company AbbVie remains at the top of the ranking of top employers and achieved second place. It has been awarded the title “Great Place to Work®” for 9 years in a row.
With its consistent participation in the established, anonymous “Great Place to Work®” survey, AbbVie underlines that this award means a lot to it. Providing a great workplace for its employees is a central concern of the global biopharmaceutical company with its headquarters in Vienna. AbbVie is all the more pleased and celebrates its second place in the M category (100-249 employees). This success is a testament to its modern working attitude, which promotes flexibility, equal opportunities and teamwork.

AbbVie was founded in 2013 and has since been active in over 70 countries with more than 50,000 employees. AbbVie has over 20 research and production locations worldwide. In Austria, the BioPharma company carries out clinical studies in cooperation with the most important domestic university clinics as well as hospitals and centers. The Austrian team includes 180 employees who are committed to people’s health and work on solution strategies for complex diseases such as immunological, oncological, neurological and ophthalmological diseases. Around 62 million people worldwide are treated with AbbVie medicines every year.
