A total of 2.8 million watched the ORF initiative “Consciously Healthy: Restful Sleep”

Vienna (OTS) Almost every or every third adult in Austria complains about too little or bad sleep, and around eight percent suffer from pathological insomnia; The crises of recent years have exacerbated the situation. The ORF therefore dedicated its entire range of media to the topic of “restful sleep” in the current “Consciously Healthy” initiative from November 16th to 25th, 2023.

In total, the numerous TV programs of the focus week alone reached 2.822 million viewers, which corresponds to a wide audience of 37 percent of the domestic TV population aged twelve and over. The “G’sund in Austria” edition “Sleep – How the night keeps us fit” (November 16th) achieved the highest reach with an average of 420,000 viewers (17 percent market share), in which Dr. Christine Reiler dealt with factors for healthy sleep, and the two “Bewussst Gesundheit” editions on November 18th and 25th with 363,000 (28 percent market share) and 358,000 viewers (24 percent market share).

The programs in the program focus are available on the ORF TVthek (https://TVthek.ORF.at) – subject to existing online license rights – available as video-on-demand for seven days after TV broadcast.

According to the online moving image measurement (AGTT/GfK TELETEST census), ORF’s live streams and video-on-demand offerings on TV programs achieved 90,000 net views (related usage processes) and 270,000 gross views in Austria from November 26th to 25th (registered video starts) and a total usage volume of 1.6 million minutes.
