Vienna (OTS) – A fairy tale as an “ORF KIDS” cultural highlight for the little ones: On Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., ORF KIDS will show the lovingly staged fairy tale “The Great Wuschelfest” by the Swabidu puppet theater. Swabidu is a non-violent and educational fairy tale series for children aged two and over. The stories take up a topic that is prepared for children of preschool and elementary school age. “The Big Wuschelfest” is intended to encourage compassion and social behavior. After the broadcast, the program will also be available on demand at kids.ORF.at.

The village of Swabidu lies in the middle of the fairytale forest. The Swabidudaps live there in cozy woolly hat houses that have a big tuft on the top. Once a year these fuzzes are washed and hung up again. This time Sniefdap’s has a big mishap and his scurry is ruined. At first his friends laugh at him, but then everyone gives a few threads from their own Wuschel to make Sniefdaps a new, colorful Wuschel. Afterwards, the Swabidudaps celebrate the big fuss festival together.
