As the clear number one in the entire Vorarlberg radio market, ORF Radio Vorarlberg is listened to the most and for the longest time

All of this makes ORF Radio Vorarlberg the unbeatable number one of all radio stations in Vorarlberg. No other radio in the country is tuned in and listened to for so long by so many people aged ten and over every day. ORF Radio Vorarlberg is once again the winner in terms of reach and market share. This is proven by the radio test for the entire year 2023, a joint study by ORF and private radio stations.
Almost one in three listens to ORF Radio Vorarlberg
In the distribution area, 125,000 people tune in to ORF Radio Vorarlberg on weekdays, and 116,000 listeners are also accompanied by their regional ORF radio every day on weekends. Four out of five people in Vorarlberg tune in to their radio on weekdays, and almost every third minute of radio heard is ORF Radio Vorarlberg*.
Highest market share of all radio stations
Of every 100 minutes of radio listened to in Vorarlberg every day, 31 are on ORF Radio Vorarlberg. No other broadcaster in Vorarlberg achieves such a high market share (31 percent).
The people of Vorarlberg love listening to the radio: the radio plays for almost four hours a day.
23 percent of the young target group at ORF Radio Vorarlberg
14 to 49 year olds also enjoy listening to ORF Radio Vorarlberg: with a daily reach of 23.0 percent, almost one in four young people in Vorarlberg tune in to ORF Radio Vorarlberg. The market share of 14 to 49 year olds on ORF Radio Vorarlberg is half higher than that of all foreign programs combined.
Unbeatable for people over 35
With a 35 percent market share among people over 35, ORF Radio Vorarlberg is listened to around 50 percent longer in its core target group than the next best private competitor. The market share here is almost three times higher than that of all foreign radio programs combined. And with a daily reach of 37.7 percent, ORF Radio Vorarlberg has more listeners in this age group than all private domestic radio stations that can be received in Vorarlberg combined. Over six out of ten of Vorarlberg residents over 35 years of age listen to ORF radio every weekday.
