SPÖ sees further evidence of COAFG as an unsuitable instrument
Vienna (OTS/SK) – In an open letter to the federal government, the Austrian Hotel Association complains that there are still far too many outstanding COFAG compensation payments. SPÖ tourism spokeswoman Melanie Erasim also criticizes this situation: “While corporations have received millions in funding, many small and medium-sized companies in the tourism industry are still waiting for their compensation.” The MP also sees this as further evidence that COFAG is an unsuitable instrument overall was and is. ****
It is unacceptable that in political practice ÖVP-led ministries have maintained a kind of “VIP service” for certain billionaires in recent years, while those who really needed support are still waiting for compensation – and that includes hundreds of domestic tourists -companies. These are of great importance for regional added value. (final) em/ls
