Vienna (OTS) – In the coming school year, become active global citizens who, as open-minded and warm host families throughout Austria, are ready to give a young person from another part of the world a home for three, five or ten months. This opportunity not only offers the chance to make a valuable contribution to the education and development of young people, but also enables the host families to gain enriching, intercultural experiences themselves.
AFS’s mission to promote peace through intercultural education is more relevant today than ever. AFS Austria’s family program is a central part of its ongoing efforts to promote active global citizens and strengthen mutual understanding between different cultures. By hosting international students, families not only open their homes, but also their hearts to new perspectives and ways of life. This is crucial to building bridges of understanding and peace between nations.
