Too close to the garden fence: Where can cable distribution cabinets be built?
Mr. R. from Poysdorf is angry because four “tin boxes,” so-called cable distribution cabinets, have been erected right in front of his fence. Although it is on community property, it is so close to his property that he can no longer even paint the fence slats. Are there rules for setting up such cabinets, which are increasingly needed as power grids expand? Ombudsman Gaby Schwarz criticizes, among other things, the community’s communication.
Step as an obstacle: Is the service office in Wels barrier-free accessible?
Mr. S. contacted the Ombudsman and complained that the recently opened service office of the “Social Affairs and Women” department did not comply with the required accessibility. A “free-floating step” would make access more difficult for people with disabilities. Ombudsman Gaby Schwarz discusses barrier-free solutions with the municipal director of Wels.
Criticism of a platform for company presentation
Small business owners complain about the business practices of “FirmenABC”. The address book publisher also runs a marketing company that sells advertising, websites or company portraits. Anyone who signed during the representative’s visit and is not satisfied with the services will hardly be able to get out of the contract for years without high cancellation costs. Representatives of “CompanyABC” face criticism from angry customers.
