Special edition on the topic of colon cancer prevention receives an award in the “Commitment of the Year” category

Vienna (OTS) The “Felix Burda Award” has been awarded by the Felix Burda Foundation since 2003 to successful and outstanding projects and achievements in the field of colon cancer prevention. This year’s award in the “Commitment of the Year” category went to “Willkommen Darmstadt”, a special program from the ORF late-night talk show “Willkommen Österreich”, which focused on colonoscopy as an uncomplicated and effective preventive examination against colon cancer. “Willkommen Darmstadt” was created in 2021 in collaboration between ORF and Superfilm – by Andreas Kreimaier (designer & filmmaker), the “Willkommen Österreich” team, Marco de Felice, Florian Kehrer (ORF), and Superfilm Filmproduktions GmbH. The show is available on ORF ON and in the TVthek app.

With gags and enthusiasm for colon cancer prevention

Dirk Stermann and Christoph Grissemann presented “Welcome Darmstadt”, a special edition on the topic of colon cancer prevention, and showed why a colonoscopy is not only incredibly important, but can also be fun. The special broadcast, which was created on the occasion of March for colon cancer prevention month, was informative and entertaining at the same time.
