Herbert Kickl will not be able to stop the investigation into the blue series of scandals
Vienna (OTS) – “Instead of dispelling the allegations in the room, Kickl stylizes himself as the Republic’s ‘number one victim’. The FPÖ leader can be reassured in one respect: Nobody is interested in making him ‘public enemy number one’, as he puts it. It would be completely sufficient if Herbert Kickl and his party cleared the air around the think tank case, the allegations surrounding the suspected Russian spy Egisto Ott, the veritable jungle of scandals in the Styrian FPÖ and the new criminal investigations against the FPÖ leadership. Because instead of addressing the swamp of scandal in which the FPÖ has been stuck for weeks, Herbert Kickl makes himself comfortable in the role of victim and tries to shirk responsibility,” said the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, reacting to today’s speech the FPÖ federal party chairman.
“The FPÖ will not succeed in thwarting people’s right to information. We will ensure that all allegations surrounding Herbert Kickl and the FPÖ are cleared up. The population has a right to see the true face of the FPÖ leader – even if Kickl seems to believe otherwise,” concluded Stocker.
