SPÖ-Babler: “Together with the best minds, finally bring the country forward again”

SPÖ-Seltenheim according to the SPÖ board: “Unanimous decision of the federal list” – Babler will present “concrete projects with heart and brain for Austria” at the SPÖ party council tomorrow

Vienna (OTS/SK) – At a press conference after the SPÖ federal party executive committee, SPÖ federal party chairman Andreas Babler and SPÖ federal managing director Klaus Seltenheim presented the SPÖ candidates for the federal list for the 2024 National Council election today, Friday. Today, the federal party presidency and executive board unanimously approved the joint candidate proposal for the SPÖ federal list with Andi Babler at the top and a highly motivated team consisting of young and experienced candidates for the 2024 National Council election. “I am pleased that the proposal was unanimously accepted and can be submitted to the party council for a decision tomorrow. The list represents the best minds with all their expertise who are helping to finally bring the country forward again with their hearts and minds,” said Babler. “Among the top 10, this federal list is the youngest SPÖ list ever with an average age of 44 years,” said the SPÖ leader. Seltenheim spoke of a “very good start for tomorrow”. ****

Tomorrow the plan “With heart and brain for Austria” will also be presented in a keynote speech by Andreas Babler. “For months, the SPÖ Expert Council has been working on concrete ideas and projects on how Austria can become more modern and fair,” said Seltenheim, who emphasized that this process is continuing and further ideas will emerge from it. Babler is determined to implement the best ideas with heart and brain: “That is the most important thing: to have concrete projects and ideas to make the country a proud country again. Austrians deserve a government that treats them as equals and a chancellor who respects them.” The state has a duty to guarantee a functioning health and education system, secure pensions and respect for employees and children.
