Vienna (OTS) – Austria shows what it can do! In the first of three live semi-final shows of “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance” on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1, ten acts will demonstrate their vocal or dancing talent with a new performance. The fixed juror of the live shows Thorsteinn Einarsson will be joined in the jury chairs this week by Missy May and Guido Cantz. Unlike in the first six shows, the jury no longer awards a star rating and cannot send a talent directly to the next show via “heart buzzer”.
Ten talents will compete in each of the three semi-final shows. After the performances, the audience has the opportunity to vote via televoting for five minutes. You can vote for your favorites by calling 09010 5909 and using the two-digit number attached (50 cents per call/SMS). The voting numbers correspond to the starting order. Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll then invite the five talents with the most televoting votes onto the stage in random order. Of these five, three acts advance: two final places are awarded to the talents with the most audience votes and one act makes it to the grand final with the “jury ticket”.

“The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance” on ORF 1 is broadcast in a fully barrier-free manner: ORF TELETEXT offers subtitles for deaf and hearing-impaired viewers on page 777 and, in addition, all live shows are available in an audio version for blind and visually impaired audiences To be available.
