MedUni Vienna’s future project has received official building permission
Vienna (OTS) – At the MedUni Campus AKH, state-of-the-art framework conditions are being created for researching the possibilities of personalized and digital medicine on more than 6,000 m². By the end of 2026, around 200 researchers will have the optimal infrastructure at the Eric Kandel Institute – Center for Precision Medicine to develop prevention, diagnosis and therapy methods tailored to individual patients. The institute can be seen as a significant contribution to securing the pioneering role of Vienna as a science location. The costs of around 90 million euros will be covered by EU funds and donations. With the official building permit, this important future project goes into structural implementation. To mark this occasion, the MedUni Vienna invites you to a groundbreaking ceremony as part of a press event.
