As a precautionary measure, SPAR is recalling “SPAR Veggie Girasoli Spinach-Cashew 250g”.

Product recall

Salzburg (OTS) – SPAR continually monitors SPAR brand products to ensure the highest quality. During a routine quality control, contamination with the peanut allergen was found in the “SPAR Veggie Girasoli Spinach-Cashew 250g” with the best before date (BBD) of June 3, 2024. For this reason, SPAR is recalling all products with the above best-before date. The product concerned with a best before date of June 3, 2024 has already been withdrawn from circulation.

Customers are requested not to consume the “SPAR Veggie Girasoli Spinach-Cashew 250g” with the best before date (BBD) June 3, 2024. All other SPAR Veggie Girasoli products or pasta from other brands are not affected by this recall.

All customers who have purchased the product in question can of course return it to the nearest SPAR, EUROSPAR or INTERSPAR store or Maximarkt. Customers will receive a refund of the purchase price even without a cash voucher.
