Vienna (OTS) – In the new edition of “Do you understand fun?” on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1, Barbara Schöneberger will once again present lots of fun films with the hidden camera and welcome numerous prominent guests to the studio – some of them themselves fell into the trap or was used as a decoy for the broadcast. Guests include presenter and model Sylvie Meis, actors Max and Friedrich von Thun, chef and television presenter Horst Lichter and art dealer Walter Lehnertz. Actor and comedian Phil Laude strains the nerves of Austrian snowboard instructors in St. Anton. TV presenter Judith Rakers takes on the role of decoy – in the live prank in the “He deserves it” section, which is a real success in the truest sense of the word. And singer Isaak performs his song “Always on the Run”, with which he will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.

Sylvie Meis’ photo shoot with spicy consequences
A Hamburg hotel wants to become younger, hipper and more colorful and is planning a large-scale photo campaign with Sylvie Meis as a prominent brand ambassador. During the photo shoot, the first step is the mask: bright blue eyeshadow and flashy pink lipstick suit the Dutch woman – at least that’s what the head of marketing thinks. Sylvie isn’t very enthusiastic, but as a professional she doesn’t show any signs of it. She also generously ignores the fact that all the photos are blurry, overexposed or taken from a completely absurd angle. But then, unexpectedly, a male model comes along with whom she is supposed to shoot. However, he only takes a selfie together – and then runs away. When a picture of her alleged new boyfriend appeared on social media a little later, Sylvie Meis was amazed.
Phil Laude takes on snowboard instructors in St. Anton
In the comedy series “Almania” Phil Laude shines as perhaps the most German teacher in Germany – Frank Stimpel, over-correct, rule-obsessed, lactose intolerant. The actor and comedian also cuts a good figure in this role as a decoy. Because the annoying educator is on assignment for the hidden camera in the winter sports resort of St. Anton, where he treated his nephew to a snowboarding course. It quickly becomes clear: the pedantic tourist knows everything better and wants to be involved everywhere. With his supposedly super-German manner, Frank Stimpel drives even the deeply relaxed Austrian snowboard instructors to despair and ensures that they would rather refund him the money for the course than spend another minute with him on the slopes.
Max von Thun becomes the Ballermann singer despite himself
Max von Thun has an appointment with his father Friedrich von Thun at a jazz club. The two actors want to spend a relaxing evening together with good live music. However, the son has no idea that his “old man” is in cahoots with “Do you understand fun?” and that the entire setting is fictitious. With the help of a fictitious old acquaintance, now supposedly a successful music manager, he actually manages to lure Max von Thun onto the stage. At first he improvises with the band and is clearly in his element – until he is suddenly confronted with a musical sin of his youth. It’s about a Ballermann hit he composed that suddenly comes out of the speakers.
Horst Lichter interrupts Walter Lehnertz during a podcast recording
Together with radio presenter Manuel Zeh, “Bares für Rares” dealer Walter “Waldi” Lehnertz regularly records the podcast “80€ – The Waldi Talk”. What the fans love: The conversation is unedited and honest. But this time everything just goes wrong during the recording. For some inexplicable reason, a local lady is constantly on the line and causing confusion. And then there are two other troublemakers who want to upset Waldi in every way possible: his “Bares für Rares” colleagues Detlev Kümmel and Horst Lichter.
