Your ARCHE NOAH donation: tax deductible and now also awarded!
Schiltern (OTS) – ARCHE NOAH, the association for the preservation of crop diversity, was recently awarded the “Austrian Donation Quality Seal” (OSGS). “ARCHE NOAH supporters now also have the official guarantee that their donations and contributions will be used particularly transparently, responsibly and economically – and that they will have an impact where they are needed: in the preservation and further development of crop diversity.”

ARCHE NOAH was audited by an independent auditing firm and the Chamber of Tax Consultants and Auditors in a complex process. The last three ARCHE NOAH annual financial statements were thoroughly examined, over 300 audit criteria were applied and: ARCHE NOAH was issued a perfect audit certificate.
The Austrian Donation Quality Seal (OSGS) stands for security and transparency when donating. “The donation quality seal strengthens the trust that donations are used properly, for the intended purpose and economically”
, assures Volker Plass. All donation quality seal organizations undertake to meet the comprehensive OSGS criteria and thus meet the highest quality standards. They have undergone a strict audit process and are audited once a year by an independent auditing firm.
„Over 17,000 people support ARCHE NOAH with their contributions and donations. With this money we receive the seeds of 5,500 varieties and over 1,100 old fruit trees and we also use it to finance our campaign for diversity-friendly EU seed law.
“We couldn’t do this work without donations, and with the donation seal of approval, our supporters now have a very special guarantee that the money goes where it has the greatest impact,” explains Plass.
