Vienna (OTS) – Stermann and Grissemann say “Hello Again” once again – including to their guests in “Welcome Austria” on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 10 p.m. on ORF 1 – and from 8 p.m. on on.ORF.at and in the TVthek app: A legend of the German pop world, Howard Carpendale, comes to the “Welcome Austria” talk for the first time. Once again, “Studio Braun” star, author, actor, entertainer, musician, jewelry and tile designer and, more recently, “Rocko Schamoni Supershow” host, Rocko Schamoni, can be seen in the Marx Palast. As moral and humorous reinforcement, author and super show sidekick Gereon Klug also takes a seat in the guest chair. The Austrian singer-songwriter discovery PIPPA opens as the closing number act of the “Amadeus Austrian Music Awards” and presents her song “Alles ok”. This is followed by Dacapo editions of “Maschek” (11 p.m.) – in which the two vocal anarchos Peter Hörmanseder and Robert Schwanz review the latest events, from football fans to cooking shows to politics – and “Reisecker’s Travels” (11:35 p.m.) , which this time leads to the Lower Austrian border area with the Czech Republic, the Thayatal, on the program.

No hit parade without Howard Carpendale: Everyone knows hits like “Ti Amo”, “Hello Again” or “Mein Weg zu dir”. No wonder, because the singer and composer can look back on an oeuvre spanning over five decades and did exactly that with his “The Show of My Life” tour with the greatest hits and gave fans goosebumps. The fact that the comeback album “Let’s do it again, again!” was released in October and the tour of the same name is coming up this year makes Carpendale fans rejoice. This includes Stermann and Grissemann at the latest after the talk on Tuesday.
The two have been fans of the Dadaist jack-of-all-trades Rocko Schamoni from the very beginning. He has done the same as the “Welcome Austria” hosts and is in front of the camera as an entertainer in the “Rocko Schamoni Supershow”. He is kept company by his “crazy manager” Gereon Klug, who wants to help the outdated “cult rocko” achieve another breakthrough with the help of guests like Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, Joy Denalane, Linda Zervakis and Charly Hübner. It will be seen on Tuesday whether the appearance in the “Welcome Austria” studio will benefit them, but one thing is already certain: the insult will run.
