ORF premiere for “Time to pray.  A crime thriller from Passau” on March 30th

At 8:15 p.m. on ORF 2: Marie Leuenberger and Michael Ostrowski in the fifth case in the crime series

Vienna (OTS) Private detective Ferdinand Zankl – played by Michael Ostrowski – would like to take the day a little easier and make a lot of money with his snooping. But a friendship service for ex-policewoman Frederike Bader (Marie Leuenberger) interrupts Zankl – on Saturday, March 30, 2024, when the ORF premiere of the fifth case in the series “Ein Crime from Passau” is on the program. The screenplay was written by Grimme Prize winner Michael Vershinin and directed by Johanna Moder (“School of Champions”). Nadja Sabersky, Stefan Rudolf, Peter Fieseler, Benjamin Chukwuani, Davina Donaldson, Till Wonka and Mara Widmann also play in roles.

Jochen Mohn (Stefan Rudolf), Frederike’s (Marie Leuenberger) former supervisor in the witness protection program, is worried. There are many indications that his ex-wife’s new partner, the lawyer Jürgen Ritter (Peter Fieseler), has gotten involved with the wrong people. Mohn’s son grows up with him. Together with private detective Ferdinand Zankl (Michael Ostrowski), Frederike is supposed to discreetly spy on the wealthy legal representative. However, before they can go on a journey with Ritter, he dies in his self-imposed exile, a Bavarian monastery. Then the situation escalates.
