28 percent market share in the young target group
Vienna (OTS) – Five more talents get tickets for the semifinal shows! Up to 500,000 viewers didn’t want to miss the third edition of “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance” last night, March 22, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1, with Rebecca Semin, Nathalie Oberkofler, Paolo Scariano, Zweimann and Ceri Hall-Brady made it to the live semi-final shows. On average (preliminarily weighted), 428,000 spectators were there when Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll invited 24 talents onto the DGC stage, who were evaluated by the jury – this time consisting of Katharina Straßer, Tina Naderer and Thorsteinn Einarsson. The market share reached 17 percent (target group 12+). In the young target groups 12-29 and 12-49, the market share was 28 and 19 percent, respectively.
“The Big Chance” wants to use many talents again on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 8:15 p.m. when Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll welcome 24 acts to the big “DGC” stage. A three-person jury will once again award five tickets for the next round – the live semi-final shows will be available on ORF 1 from April 26, 2024. “The big opportunity – Let’s sing and dance” – barrier-free
Like previous ORF shows, “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance” will also be broadcast in a fully barrier-free manner on ORF 1:
ORF TELETEXT offers subtitles for deaf and hearing-impaired viewers on page 777 and all ten programs will also be available in an audio version for blind and visually impaired audiences. The emotions on the show stage can be experienced live by experienced audio commentators, even for people with visual impairments – at the first casting, Juliane Kühberger and Sebastian Aster will accompany the audience with their commentary. The task of the audio commentators is to convey everything that remains hidden from their audience through acoustic image descriptions: such as the appearance of the costumes and the choreography of the dances, gestures, facial expressions and show effects. This live audio commentary can be heard on the second audio track, which can be set via the remote control.
