Nominate your favorite neighbors by March 26th and win an evening of enjoyment together
Vienna (OTS) – They stick together, are like part of the family and are always there when they are needed: In Vorarlberg there are countless great neighbors with whom you really enjoy living next door. The ORF Radio Vorarlberg team thinks they should be in the spotlight and is therefore looking for “The Best Neighbors” in Vorarlberg until March 26th. You can win an unforgettable evening together.
Good neighbors are always an asset
All listeners of ORF Radio Vorarlberg are cordially invited to nominate “The Best Neighbors” 2024. The easiest way to do this is via the online site vorarlberg.ORF.at, by email to radio.vorarlberg@orf.at or by calling the radio studio on 05572/3830. The best neighbors are featured on the morning show “Guten Morgen Vorarlberg” at 7:40 a.m. from Monday to Friday. You can win a voucher for an evening together at Casino Bregenz with “Dinner & Casino” for four people – so that the neighbors can enjoy the evening together and toast their great neighborhood.
Cohesion and warmth
Over the past three years, ORF Radio Vorarlberg has been able to present many very touching neighborhood stories, such as those of Natascha and Adriana from Lustenau: They are not only neighbors, but their daughters are also best friends. They sit together at school in the morning and then play together at home throughout the afternoon. Or the stories from Isabell from Hohenweiler, who has developed a cool working group with her neighbors: “We stick together like pitch, we share everything, borrow everything from each other, and we also make arrangements with the kindergarten – for example, I look after them their children so that my neighbors can go to work,” Isabell summarizes with a laugh.
Markus Klement, regional director ORF Vorarlberg: “With the ‘best neighbors’ we want to show what lively and unique neighborhoods there are in Vorarlberg and what inseparable friendships have arisen from them. Neighborly willingness to help is incredibly valuable. I am happy if we as ‘ORF for all’ can make our contribution to this.”
Angelika Simma-Wallinger, editor-in-chief of ORF Vorarlberg: “People are interested in what happens in the neighborhood and that’s what we’re there for as a regional broadcaster: to make these very small, immediate but so important relationships visible and tangible.”
