“Sound@V” 2024: Submit now for the ORF Vorarlberg Music Prize!

Top opportunity for Vorarlberg bands and solo acts: Simply register at vorarlberg.ORF.at

Vienna (OTS) ORF Vorarlberg’s important music award “Sound@V” is taking place for the fifth time this year. Vorarlberg bands and solo acts can prove their skills in the four categories of pop/rock, open pool, alternative/singer-songwriters and newcomers. A total of 25,000 euros in prize money awaits. Registrations are possible until May 6, 2024 at vorarlberg.ORF.at.

Easy registration

Vorarlberg bands and solo acts can only take part at vorarlberg.ORF.at. Submissions are possible until May 6, 2024. Registration for “Sound@V” is free.

All musicians who were born in Vorarlberg and/or have lived in Vorarlberg for more than three years can take part. Bands must have at least one member who was born in Vorarlberg and/or has lived in Vorarlberg for more than three years. There is no age limit. The artistic performance must be assignable to the four main categories. Only bands or solo acts whose performance consists predominantly of their own compositions can take part. The titles submitted must have been composed or published a maximum of three years ago. The winners from 2023 cannot start this year.

Large-scale assessment

An international jury of experts selects the winners of the respective categories together with the votes from the online voting on vorarlberg.ORF.at. The winners will be honored at the big award show on July 5th as part of the “Poolbar Festival” in Feldkirch.

Strong partners

The ORF Vorarlberg music award “Sound@V” is held together with “Marke Vorarlberg”, “Wann & Wo” and the “Poolbar Festival”. In addition to the prize money of 20,000 euros, AKM/aume is contributing an additional 5,000 euros for the “Newcomer” category, says Stefan Höfel, responsible for “Sound@V” at ORF Vorarlberg.
