Hoyos: “If this government wants to cling to power until the fall, it has to deliver instead of babbling.”
Vienna (OTS) – “This government has burned out and is no longer achieving anything. Instead of constantly repeating empty phrases, it would be high time to act,” said NEOS Secretary General Douglas Hoyos, commenting on Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler’s appearance on ORF today.Press conference. “We have seen for months that the government is no longer bringing anything together for the people and our country. This standstill must now end. It’s time for reform. Austria has the highest dependence on Russian gas and the highest inflation in Europe. “Both have to change – and quickly: no more money for Putin’s war chest and financial relief for the people of Austria,” demands Hoyos.
“Austrians are suffering from rising prices and the government is standing by and doing nothing. People need more money in their pockets, companies need more breathing room. Kogler didn’t say a word about it today. But we can’t afford any more idleness. The tax and duty ratio urgently needs to come down. If the government wants to cling to power until the fall, it has to deliver instead of babbling.”
