FPÖ – Hafenecker: “If a party besides the People’s Party has caused scandals in the last few decades, then it is the SPÖ!” | Freedom Parliamentary Club

There seems to be a great fear that the Austrians will have to reckon with the “red tax policy of the taxpayers” in the upcoming elections

Vienna (OTS) “The carnival is coming to an end and the SPÖ is once again unmasking itself. The fear of the upcoming elections and the Austrians’ reckoning with the taxpayers’ red tax policy seems to be very great, there is no other explanation for these smoke grenades. Because if Kurz and his ÖVP had not gotten involved in the excesses of corruption, it would be primarily the Social Democrats who have caused corruption scandals in recent decades in which taxpayers were deprived of tens of billions,” emphasized FPÖ General Secretary NAbg. Christian Hafenecker, MA, parliamentary group leader in the COFAG investigative committee and the “ÖVP abuse of power investigative committee”, whether the “self-disclosure by the SPÖ” in today’s broadcast by the SPÖ finance spokesman Krainer.

Hafenecker is happy to help the “dark red amnesia”: “Before the 2000s there was the AKH scandal, the intertrading speculative losses, the nationalization crisis, Noricum or the KONSUM bankruptcy, and afterwards the SPÖ also had numerous Affairs made headlines. In 2000, the SPÖ started with Bank Burgenland losing over 200 million, followed by the BAWAG-ÖGB affair with over 2 billion and shortly afterwards the bankruptcy of Kommunalkredit. In addition to some questionable advertising affairs, the BEGAS scandal was uncovered and shortly afterwards the Salzburg financial scandal with losses of around 530 million. In 2017, the criminal machinations surrounding Silberstein and the SPÖ became public, then the excessive waste of tax money around the KH-Nord followed by the bankruptcy of the Commerzialbank Burgenland and also the SPÖ-Drozda and the Burgtheater were a big headline. The disaster surrounding the near-bankruptcy of Wien Energie was one of the numerous scandals in which Social Democrats in the Second Republic tried to take companies under government responsibility or carry out major projects within their own sphere of influence. The SPÖ has continuously pursued its policy of scandals: the red Chamber of Labor in Vienna speculated on 2.9 million membership fees and the SPÖ allotment deals last year showed that Babler and his SPÖ would like to burden the already expensive population with new taxes, while the SPÖ’s own officials fill their pockets. And currently it is ex-chancellor and still SPÖ member Gusenbauer who has cashed in big money from SIGNA, while the taxpayer is allowed to pay the billion-dollar bankruptcy.”

“If a party besides the People’s Party has caused scandals in the last few decades, it is the SPÖ! After these countless scandals, no one will buy the parallel world of social democracy, where sparrows are shot with cannons,” Hafenecker concludes.
