Vienna’s first Atomos Clinic is breaking new ground in private medicine

After just a few months, the ATOMOS Klinik Währing has been completely reorganized, both in terms of medicine and interior design.

Vienna (OTS) Around six months ago, in July 2023, the Atomos Clinic Group took over the former Währing private clinic in Vienna’s Kreuzgasse. The house was extensively renovated and conceptually changed. The planning and implementation of this work was carried out by the MasterPlan A EinRichtung GmbH based on the model of “Healing Architecture”. It aims to positively support the effect of medical therapies – and more than that:We want patients and employees to feel equally comfortable, emphasizes Dr. med. Florian Valach, Managing Director of the ATOMOS Clinic in Währing.

Medical diversity at affordable prices

With affordable private medicine and the highest level of patient orientation, Vienna’s first ATOMOS clinic wants to live up to its mission statement “One medicine – for people”. The extensive medical offering is open to both self-payers and patients with social and additional insurance and offers an affordable alternative to the current problems in social medical care, such as long operating room waiting times. Dr. Florian Valach: We attach great importance to offering private medicine at affordable prices and making short-term surgical appointments available in our facility.

The range of medical services offered by the new private clinic extends across a wide range of specialist disciplines – including the following medical focuses: oncological breast surgery, hernias, proctology, endoscopy (gastric and colonoscopy), plastic surgery and hand surgery, venous diseases and Vienna’s currently only menopause center. Other specialist areas such as gynecology, urology, orthopedics, thyroid surgery, ophthalmology and eye surgery as well as general pain therapy complement the diverse medical offering.

In-house ordination center and affiliated hospital

The first point of contact is the in-house ordination center, where appointments can be made by calling 01/261 66-222. In our new surgery and outpatient center, patients will find competent and experienced doctors for a wide range of medical concerns, emphasizes Dr. Felix Reimer, internist and medical director of the ATOMOS Clinic in Währing. But Vienna’s first ATOMOS clinic also offers new opportunities for doctors, be it in the allocation of patients, as an affiliated hospital or through rentable practices.

The medical, nursing and organizational concept is based on the highest level of patient orientation. This begins with appointment management and the personal accompaniment of arriving patients to the ward or the respective outpatient clinic and continues with individual medical advice and support. Dr. Rhymer: From the variety of options and specialist disciplines that are available in our company, we work with patients to develop the optimal individual therapy for each individual.

Organic certification and Healing Architecture

A new, predominantly vegetarian nutritional concept that relies on fresh preparation and regional, seasonal and, whenever possible, organic ingredients also contributes to individual well-being and recovery. For this, the house was recently presented with the organic certificate from BIOS Austria. The in-house bistro, which is open to the public, also takes this claim into account. In terms of interior design, a “Healing Architecture” concept was developed based on an architectural psychological assessment and implemented for all rooms, including the patient rooms, most of which have a balcony or terrace. Patients, relatives and employees find a helpful and healing atmosphere in many ways.
