If 30 electricians meet in the Black Forest … What sounds like the beginning of a classic joke is actually the IQ camp, a format from Siedle for exchange with the electrical trade. The occasion of this two -day camp was the upcoming launch of the new product family Siedle IQ.

Siedle IQ is a smart new product family for door communication with app, cloud platform, high-quality IP video intercom and digital features-and the final step of the manufacturer into the world of the “Internet of Things” (IoT). Siedle is breaking new ground in many areas – including communication with the craft. The result is a new format that combines product training and community building: the IQ camp. Several weeks before the official market launch, 30 selected electricians received exclusive insights into the system in July – and at the same time became authentic brand ambassadors.

First-hand know-how

At the center of the IQ camp was initially the practical training by Siedle experts from product management, project management and software development. Subsequently, two well-known electrical influencers conveyed valuable knowledge of digital communication: Jenna Rist alias “Elektroblondi” and the brothers Leon and Marc Daniels (“electrodanals”) show how specialist knowledge can be prepared and distributed authentically and target group-friendly for social media. The Black Forest film studios in Kirchzarten offered the right professional framework for this.

Experiences from practice – directly online

Each of the 30 participants then took home an IQ system to now install them in a self-selected project and to test them intensively. In the following months, they report on their experiences – from planning to configuration to commissioning – in their own contributions on Instagram and other platforms.

This does not create classic advertising, but credible voices from practice. A community that Siedle IQ not only uses, but also shaped: through feedback, content, ideas and visibility. With success: The testers published more than 100 postings – even before their first article provided for in the concept. “The exchange and the resulting social media alliance are incredibly valuable. I think it’s great, as we are now pushing each other and I am grateful to be part of this unique action,”, for example, said Tobias Matt, project manager at Elektro Schäuble from Bad Säckingen.

Excellent design

Siedle IQ was awarded the German Design Award 2025 and the IF Design Award 2025 before the market launch. The system will be available from October 2025, the list price of the complete sets for single -family houses is just under 1000 euros (exclusive VAT).
