The online supermarket Turker builds its range of fresh, warming ready-to-eat dishes under the name “Gurkerl Bistro” continue. After a first range offensive at the beginning of the year, around 25 additional chilled ready meals will be listed from now on, which can be warm up and enjoyed in a few minutes.
The demand is high: Orders in the ready-to-eat category at Gurkerl have increased by almost 10 % since the beginning of the year. Fresh noodles such as Gnocchi and Cappelletti as well as frozen ready-made dishes such as chickens nuggets and lasagna are particularly in demand.
The extended range includes soups, starters, main dishes and desserts-including specialties of renowned restaurants, the Salzburg scene restaurant The Green Garden And the popular Korean Restaurant GAON in Vienna. A wide range of international kitchens is covered: from Indian to Italian and Czech. Gurkerl now offers over 400 products for the fast kitchen: from fresh pasta, bowls, wraps, sandwiches, funds and sauces to frozen dishes. Gurkerl positions itself as one of the largest providers of fresh, uncomplicated meals in the Austrian food trade.
As in all categories, Gurker also relies on regionality, freshness and quality at ready-to-eat. Many of the ready meals come from regional manufacturers and restaurants, do without added sugar, salt or preservatives and offer a balanced alternative to classic “microwave dishes”.
