Woom recorded a record result – best half of the company in the company’s history

Woom, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality children’s and youth bicycles, impressively continues its growth course. In the first half of 2025, the Austrian company achieved the best result since it was founded in 2013. The turnover rose by around 41 % to 90.1 million euros compared to the previous year. A total of over 2 million Woom Bikes have already been sold, another milestone in the still young company history. Particularly noteworthy: Woom grows against the industry trend. In an overall declining bicycle market, the company continuously gains market shares and expands its management position.

After a strong start to the year, Woom continued to accelerate his financial and operational development in the second quarter. The company already achieved a record result in the first quarter of 2025. This positive trend continued in the second quarter and led to the most successful first half of the year since it was founded.

At the end of July, sales crossed the 100 million euro brand, a threshold that was only reached in October last year. This growth succeeds in a still declining bicycle market and a still challenging industry.

Woom is expanding the success course

“The first half of 2025 exceeded our expectations. This success is the performance of our entire team and shows what progress we have made in the past few months. Our greatest drive is and remains the enthusiasm of over two million children and adolescents who have discovered the love of cycling with Woom. We are guided by this mission: We would like to take the fascination for cycling even before you take your first steps, even before you take your first steps, and will bring a completely new product to the market in October. so woom CEO Bernd Hake.

Kasper Rørsted, Chairman of the Advisory Board, also emphasizes the strategic importance of the results: “Woom is on the right track. We have a strong brand, a highly motivated team and a clear agenda for innovation and internationalization. This foundation allows us to further expand our management position in the field of high -quality children’s bicycles and to strengthen the trust of our partners and investors in the long term.”

Woom consistently expands its global market position

The company not only continues to record double-digit growth rates in the roof room, but also convinces with dynamic business development in the international markets. The consistent internationalization strategy bears fruit: the market structure in Great Britain, an increased presence in the United States as well as significant growth in Northern Europe and the Benelux countries underline the global course of success.

At the same time, the innovative strength remains a central engine of growth. The most recent product launches-the children’s bikes Woom Go, the innovative ready children’s helmet and the limited e-bikes Woom Explore E-were excellently accepted by the market. Now the company looks forward to October 2025 when a completely new product category is presented for the smallest. Further new products, including future-oriented solutions in the field of e-mobility, are already under development for 2026.
