Int. Gartenbaesse Tulln from August 28th to September 1st

The int. Gartenbaesse Tulln is the most important date for all hobby gardeners and garden professionals. 450 exhibitors present all trends for the garden: garden design, pools, winter gardens, outdoor furniture, photovoltaics and grilling in the garden. The highlight of the fair is Europe’s largest flower show – the performance show of the best Austrian gardeners and florists under the motto: “Blossoming stories & melodies”. 200,000 flowers are transformed into impressive works of art.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

With the line “Do you know the country where the lemons bloom?” Starts a poetic picture of the south that moved many generations. For Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Italy was an ideal country that combined inspiration, nature and art in perfect harmony. On the Int. Garden tree fair tulln is adorned with a lavishly decorated table with lemons, oranges, lime and Mediterranean plants such as rosemarine, basil and large olive trees.

AIDA – by Giuseppe Verdi

The opera Aida von Giuseppe Verdi, premiered in 1871, plays against the majestic background of the ancient Egypt and tells the tragic love story between the Ethiopian princess Aida and the Egyptian general Radamès. With the “Triumphal March” scene, AIDA is one of the largest masterpieces in opera literature. On the Int. Garden tree fairs find opera lovers with a lined path with spears and flower wreaths from hydrangeas and a huge throne with pampas grasses and knight’s spur in strong colors.

The perfume – by Patrick Süskind

Patrick Süskind’s perfume is a dark novel that tells the story of Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, a man with an exceptional sense of smell who makes an obsessed hunt for the perfect fragrance. Süskind creates a fascinating, almost hypnotic atmosphere in which the sense of smell becomes the driving force of the plot.
On the Int. Gartenpaße is presented with a fragrance road with various glasses with scents. Roses, lavender, jasmine, citrus fruits, hyacinths and lilies are in the foreground here.

Floral library

The floral library is an innovative concept that combines nature and knowledge in a unique way. In this “library”, plants and flowers are used as living sources of knowledge. At the center of the floral library is the “Tree of Knowledge – a Sophora Japonica”. A total of 26 boxes stand for 26 letters – each with the initial letters of a plant. The floral library is implemented with different colorful ferns and flowers.

Murder in the Orientexpress – by Agatha Christie

Murder in Agatha Christie’s Orient Express is a classic crime novel that leads the famous detective Hercule Poirot on a journey through Europe. When a passenger is murdered, Poirot takes up the investigation and reveals surprising secrets among travelers. An oversized steam locomotive is shown, decorated with flowers of exotic fruits such as pineapple, pomegranate, mango and cocoa beans.

The phantom of the opera – by Gaston Leroux

The Phantom of the Opera of Gaston Leroux is a classic of Gothic literature who tells the mysterious history of a distorted man who lives in the Paris Opera House and falls in love with a young singer. The phantom, a master of music and terror, exercises control over the opera and gets into a dangerous game of love, jealousy and revenge. An oversized white mask is shown, a portrait of the phantom of the opera. This is inserted with red roses, lilies, gender and chrysanthemums.

Alice in the Wonderland of Lewis Carroll

Alice in the Wonderland of Lewis Carroll is an imaginative adventure in which the young Alice immerses in a bizarre, dream -like world full of speaking animals, strange figures and crazy events. A huge mound of earth is presented that is the door to the Wonderland. The hat maker’s hat should not be missing either and is presented floral. A large flower meadow, a colorfully decorated table and platforms from different plants such as moss, leaves, heliconia and orchids show the imaginative world of Alice in Wonderland.

Romeo and Julia from William Shakespeare

Romeo and Julia of William Shakespeare is a tragic love story of two young people from hostile families in Verona. Her passionate love is overshadowed by hate and misunderstandings, which ultimately leads to her tragic death. A large wall invites visitors to leave love messages. An oversized heart is stuck in red, pink and pink with roses and dahlias. It should represent the tragic love story of Romeo and Julia.
