The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 not only brings musical diversity to Austria, but also noticeable economic impulses. A current study commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism for the first time examines the economic effects of the ESC on the Austrian economy.
Both the direct expenditure of visitors and the event -related investments were analyzed. On this basis, the effects on value creation, employment and tourist demand were raised.
